Ryan Masserman is an associate at Masserman & Ducey, where he focuses on civil litigation and trial defense. 

Before entering private practice, Ryan spent two years with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, serving first as a law clerk and later as a Deputy District Attorney. During that time he completed numerous jury trials, the majority resulting in guilty verdicts, and gained extensive experience in criminal litigation, case investigation, and courtroom advocacy. Drawing on that prosecutorial background, he brings a disciplined, strategic, and trial-tested approach to evaluating exposure and positioning his clients' cases for resolution or verdict.

Ryan received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2024, where he was a Dean's Merit Scholar and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Copyright Law. He also served as President of the Family and Dependency Law Society and as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Criminal Procedure. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2024. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Game Design from DigiPen Institute of Technology in Washington in 2016.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys painting, cooking, tabletop and classic video games, and spending time with his wife and their two young children in Los Angeles.
