Jessica A. Hoch
Jessica Hoch is an associate at Masserman and Ducey. She concentrates in civil litigation defense, including premises liability, landlord-tenant habitability, and a wide variety of personal injury matters. She has extensive knowledge in most aspects of state court litigation, including pre-trial motions, written discovery, depositions and trial motions.
Jessica completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA where she graduated with honors in 2011 earning her Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology. While earning her undergraduate degree, Jessica worked full-time for fortune-500 companies on the road in over 11 different countries. After undergrad, Jessica spent two years living on the east coast working in sports broadcast media. Her experience working with high volume corporate contracts sparked her interest in pursuing a career in the field of law.
Jessica was admitted to the California Bar in 2021 after graduating from Southwestern Law School. Jessica spent 5 years working in civil litigation prior to enrolling in law school. While attending law school in the evenings, Jessica continued to work full-time managing a civil litigation firm, supervising law clerks and assisting with a variety of legal matters from the initial filing of the complaint through attendance and participation at jury trials.
Jessica spends her free time advocating for animals rights, and has volunteered over 250 hours to the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association and Los Angeles Natural History Museum Live Animal Department. She is also a long-time donor to numerous local and international animal charities. Jessica loves sharing the natural world with her young daughter, and currently also flexes her history buff skills as a volunteer docent with the San Fernando Valley Historical Society.
