Robert J. Borowski
Robert Borowski is an associate at Masserman and Ducey. His areas of concentration include the defense of wide-ranging general liability matters involving personal injury, premises liability, habitability disputes, business litigation and appellate litigation. Robert has an extensive background in all aspects of state and federal court litigation including pre-trial law and motion, written discovery, depositions and trial preparation. Robert has drafted several successful dispositive motions including demurrers, motions for summary judgment and motions for terminating sanctions.
Robert developed an early interest in business and completed his undergraduate studies in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2010.
Robert was admitted to the California Bar in 2015 after graduating from Southwestern Law School. While in law school, Robert served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Andrew J. Wistrich, Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He served as Lead Articles Editor for the Southwestern Law Review and was a two-year member of the school’s Moot Court program. He received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in his Legal Research and Writing course as well as the school’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Litigation Practicum. Robert’s interest in business continued throughout law school when he authored an article published in the Southwestern Law Review entitled “Combatting Multiforum Shareholder Litigation: A Federal Acceptance of Forum Selection Bylaws.”
Robert is an avid sports fan and particularly loves all things baseball. He is also an aspiring foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants around Los Angeles with his friends and family.
